Phoseon Technology has expanded the Nexus One platform with a new water-cooled 675mm LED curing lamp for flexographic printing applications:

The longer lamp size will supplement the existing Nexus One air-cooled products already available in 300mm, 375mm, 450mm, 525mm, 600mm lengths. Nexus One lamps deliver maximum power and dose of UV energy to high-performance applications and come with a five-year warranty for the entire LED curing system.

Phoseon’s patented LED technology offers converters the ability to print on thin heat sensitive substrates at faster curing speeds with a more reliable curing process. LED also brings product sustainability with up to 70% energy savings and significant waste reduction compared to mercury UV curing.

Eticod Invests in Nexus ONE™

Phoseon Team Visits Eticod 

Eticod in Poland decided to invest in UV LED technology to reduce CO₂ emissions and to make production more efficient. At the beginning of the year a Bobst M5 430, 10-color press with UV LED curing was successfully installed and put into operation. The machine consumes approximately 60% less electricity compared to mercury, which corresponds to an annual saving of approximately 84,000 kWh, eliminating 200 tons of CO₂. See case study HERE!
